Alisa, I have always wanted to read The Kite Runner and don't worry you didn't spoil it for me, instead it actually made me want to read it more. I thin this open prompt was really interesting how you explained a lot of the history in Afghanistan. To go with that history, I liked how you started your presentation making us relate because we all know how it becomes more interesting and shocking when it is based on a true story. I think that definitely impacts the reader. I was really interested in all the different groups in the book in the Hazara although it was hard to keep track of. I thought it was really interesting how you mentioned that all of his books have a cinematic quality instead of turning away from the cinema.
